Future of crop nutrients - EVENT POSTPONED
This event has been postponed due to circumstances beyond our control. A new date will be scheduled.
The European Commission has set out its ambitions to make European agriculture most sustainable and climate friendly. In doing so, the Farm to Fork Strategy sets out a clear ambition to tackle ‘excess nutrients’ in agriculture and to do so through an Integrated Nutrient Management Action Plan, which the European Commission consulted on last year.
In this context, this Solutions Week seminar, from the Forum for the Future of Agriculture, will examine the role played by biological or organic crop nutrients and focus on a number of key questions:
- To what extent can biological and organic crop nutrients play a role in sustainable nutrient management?
- More specifically, what impact would they have on climate change?
- What are the most impactful innovations and what benefits do they deliver?
- What are the opportunities and challenges in bringing these innovations to the European market?
- What does this mean for the farmer?
