They set the company up to reduce plastic pollution and challenge an overpackaged supply chain. Their ethos is to allow customers to bring their own containers to shop plastic free, support producers that are local as possible and to reduce food waste by allowing customers to buy as little as they need. Currently The Clean Kilo have two shops and combined they will save approximately 300,000 pieces of plastic (per year) from landfill or worse, entering our oceans.
