Global instability, conflict and climate change are making resilient food systems central to future geopolitical stability. Food is arguably being increasingly weaponized in conflicts and that fragile supply chains, export restrictions, and fertilizer dependencies threaten global security.
In partnership with the Council on Foreign Relations, the Forum for the Future of Agriculture will bring together with representatives from government, agribusiness & adjacent sectors, civil society and farmers, this event, which takes place during New York Climate Week and the high-level General Debate week of the United Nations General Assembly meeting. It will therefore explore the need and opportunity for stronger multilateral cooperation, greater leadership from Global South nations, and urgent reforms to trade, agricultural policy, and food governance to build a more resilient and equitable global food system.
This in-person event is by invitation only. To request an invitation send an email to info@forumforag.com
