Welcome to Food Systems Podcasts, the series about creating a sustainable food system.

Regularly we release new episodes of Food Systems where we interview politicians, civil society representatives, thought leaders, scientists, activists, farmers, business leaders and many others with ideas and actions on how we can deliver a safe, plentiful, and above all sustainable food system that works for everyone. Each Food Systems episode is 20-30 minutes long, perfect for your commute or lunch, and will deliver new insight and ideas right to your ears.

However, profitability is often lost in the discussion, but it is the most important aspect of any farming activity in Europe. He believes that we have to start thinking about a longer-term system with less subsidies and higher profitability for farmers.
