Welcome to Food Systems Podcasts, the series about creating a sustainable food system.

Regularly we release new episodes of Food Systems where we interview politicians, civil society representatives, thought leaders, scientists, activists, farmers, business leaders and many others with ideas and actions on how we can deliver a safe, plentiful, and above all sustainable food system that works for everyone. Each Food Systems episode is 20-30 minutes long, perfect for your commute or lunch, and will deliver new insight and ideas right to your ears.

While farmers have a great history of feeding an increasing population on about the same amount of land, she highlights that new challenges have emerged including climate change and biodiversity decline. She believes that we need to be both sustainable and competitive, because as a farmer, you can’t be green if your bank account is red.
